Privacy Policy
1. Summary
Full Battery plays an alarm when your phone finishes charging to the level you choose. It does this entirely on your phone.
We do not have an account system. We do not have a server that stores anything about you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not build user profiles.
The only data that ever leaves your device is what Google collects when you choose to watch a rewarded ad, or when you buy the one-time unlock through Google Play. Both are described in section 4.
2. Data we do not collect or share
Full Battery does not collect, upload, log, or share:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account details
- Your contacts, messages, call logs, photos, or files
- Your precise location
- Your battery history, charging history, or device diagnostics
- Any of the settings you configure inside the app
We have no backend server. There is nowhere for us to store this data even if we wanted to.
3. Data processed on your device only
The following stays on your phone and is never transmitted:
| What | Why it exists |
|---|---|
| Your alert settings (target level, sound, vibration, repeat interval, quiet hours) | So the app alerts you the way you set it up |
| Your settings profiles and their names | So you can keep several setups and switch between them |
| Your chosen light/dark appearance | So the app looks the way you left it |
| The current battery level and charging state | Read from Android in real time to decide when to alert — never recorded |
| Whether your app time is still valid, and whether you bought the lifetime unlock | So the app knows whether to show the "add time" bar |
All of it is stored in Android's private app storage, which no other app can read. Uninstalling the app deletes every bit of it.
4. Data shared with third parties
Google AdMob (advertising). Full Battery is free and offers a rewarded ad that grants 7 days of app time.
The advertising system stays completely dormant until you tap "Watch ad" yourself. If you never tap it — or if you bought the lifetime unlock — no ad request is ever made and no advertising identifier is ever read.
Once you do tap it, Google may process your advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location such as your city or country, never a precise position), general device information, and your interaction with the ad, in order to serve and measure the ad. This is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours. We never receive this data ourselves.
Google Play Billing (payments). If you buy the one-time lifetime unlock, Google Play handles the entire payment. We never see or receive your card number, billing address, or any payment detail. Google tells our app one thing only: whether this Google account owns the product. We store that answer as a single true/false value on your device.
5. Permissions we request
| Permission | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Show notifications | To display the alarm you asked for, and the small running notice Android requires while the app watches the battery |
| Foreground service (special use) | To keep watching the battery level while charging — Android will not let an app observe charging continuously without it |
| Start after restart | So the alert keeps working after you restart your phone, without you having to open the app again |
| Vibrate | Only if you turn vibration on |
| Internet / network state | Only to load a rewarded ad when you tap to watch one, and to complete a purchase through Google Play |
Full Battery does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or notification content.
6. Third-party services
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Play Billing — policies.google.com/privacy
We do not use Firebase Analytics, crash reporting, attribution SDKs, or any other analytics service.
7. Data retention
Because nothing is sent to us, there is nothing for us to retain. Everything the app stores lives on your phone and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Your purchase record is held by Google Play, not by us, and follows Google's own retention rules.
8. Children
Full Battery is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
9. Your rights
You can delete all data the app holds at any time by uninstalling it, or by using Android's "Clear storage" option in the system app settings.
Since we hold no personal data on any server, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or erase on your behalf. If you have a question about this, email us at the address in section 13.
10. International users
The app itself processes everything locally, wherever you are. Data handled by Google (ads and payments) may be processed on Google's servers in other countries under Google's own privacy terms.
11. Security
Your settings are stored in Android's private per-app storage, which the operating system isolates from other apps. Purchases are verified directly with Google Play. Because we operate no server and hold no personal data, there is no central database that could be breached.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above. Meaningful changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
